Die cut decals: http://www.godecals.net/vinyl-custom-...
Removing a die cut decal or sticker from your car window isn't always easy. There's nothing worse than that nasty, sticky residue remaining on your car's windows for weeks and months.
In order to prevent that from happening, the VP of Business Operations here at GoDecals.net created this neat, quick little video to help you remove your stickers properly.
Follow along with Bart in the video and he'll show you what tools you need, how to take it off, and how to prevent sticker residue from remaining on your vehicle's glass.
Take it away, Bart!
Depending on how long your decal has been on your car, this process could be very difficult. There are a couple of different tools you can use to help you lift the decal off the surface of the glass without having to mess with that nasty sticker residue.
To start, take Rapid Remover and spray all over the surface of the decal and on the surface just around the decal. Don't be afraid to really soak it. Wait a minute or two to make sure the sticker is soaked and the solution has had a second to seep into the decal itself.
Then, take a razor blade -- or a straight edge -- to gently lift one corner of the decal. Slowly lift the corner of the decal until a large enough portion of the sticker is off the glass, and then begin slowly peeling with your fingers.
As Bart says in the video, this can be a very time-consuming process. Take your time while slowly lifting the decal with the edge of the razor and your fingers. If you pull to hard and don't carefully lift the decal off, you could rip the decal or scratch the surface of the glass.
You don't want either of these things to happen! If it's a die cut decal with many different angles, cuts, and shapes, you're in for an even longer removal process! As you saw in the video, all the different endpoints and angles of the words "GoDecals.net" provided a very difficult removal of the sticker. Please, be patient when removing your decal.
Once it's completely removed, there still may be a little sticky residue. That can be taken care of with some dish soap and a little warm water or your favorite goo-removal product.
Congratulations! You just removed a die cut decal or sticker from your car window.
